After being nominated by our hometown, Glückstadt, and making the jury list earlier this year, it was a great honour to be awarded as a Schleswig-Holstein finalist for the “Große Preis des Mittelstandes 2025”
from the Oskar Patzelt Foundation. Our managing director, Matthias Winkler, accepted the prize at the ceremony in Düsseldorf on September 27th.
The foundation is devoted to highlighting mid-sized companies for their success.
Since the first awards in 1994, over 22,000 companies have been nominated. With mid-sized businesses as the backbone of our economy, the award has become a statement of success. But it is not only the financial numbers that matter. The grading also considers the creation of jobs, modernisation, environmental responsibility, service and marketing.
It’s a special kind of admiration, not only being considered but to win the most esteemed business award in Germany. Over the past twenty years, CM Technologies has developed greatly. From the basement of Mr Winkler to the over 40 employees in our modern headquarters in Glückstadt, we now combine all processes, from R&D to sales and dispatch, in-house to deliver the best service to our customers. While many of our team members started as trainees, we also welcome new talent. In his acceptance speech, Mr Winkler dedicated the success to the employees, whose dedication made this achievement possible. He also thanked his wife and daughters for standing by his side through countless late nights and challenges, reminding everyone that success is always a shared effort.
This award is both a milestone and a motivation to keep moving forward. It underlines that our dedication reaches you, our customers, in the spirit it’s intended.
